Motorcycles We Would Like To Get

I like to ride cruisers, and I really like the feel of the Honda cruisers. If someone thinks that I should check out other makes and models, I will be happy to investigate any recommendations that I receive. As for my wife, she has never driven a motorcycle, although she has logged a few miles on the back of a motorcycle. As she learns how to ride, it will be up to her on what type of bike she would like.

My current suggestion for my wife is the Honda Shadow VLX or the Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe, due to the low seat height (her legs just barely touch the ground when sitting on my previous Honda Shadow 750 ACE). We will most likely add other motorcycles as we visit dealers and let her check out some of the other bikes out there.

I am also investigating a couple other bikes as an intro motorcycle for the new rider. The Hyosung Aquila GV250 and the Kymco Venox 250 are both very attractive looking bikes. My wife actually likes the GV250 due to it's lower seat height, and closer handlebars. She is able to comfortably sit on the GV250 with both feet flat on the ground.

I currently have one of the Honda VTX cruisers. My personal preference is something with retro styling, so I went with a used 2005 Honda VTX 1300R. I've been riding in for a few years now, and I'm happy with how it performs.
