Motorcycles We Would Like To Get

I like to ride cruisers, and I really like the feel of the Honda cruisers. If someone thinks that I should check out other makes and models, I will be happy to investigate any recommendations that I receive. As for my wife, she has never driven a motorcycle, although she has logged a few miles on the back of a motorcycle. As she learns how to ride, it will be up to her on what type of bike she would like.

My current suggestion for my wife is the Honda Shadow VLX or the Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe, due to the low seat height (her legs just barely touch the ground when sitting on my current Honda Shadow 750 ACE). We will most likely add other motorcycles as we visit dealers and let her check out some of the other bikes out there.

I am also investigating a couple other bikes as an intro motorcycle for the new rider. The Hyosung Aquila GV250 and the Kymco Venox 250 are both very attractive looking bikes. My wife actually likes the GV250 due to it's lower seat height, and closer handlebars. She is able to comfortably sit on the GV250 with both feet flat on the ground.

I would like to get one of the Honda VTX cruisers. My personal preference is something with retro styling (large fenders) and spoke wheels. The least expensive would probably be the Honda VTX 1300S, followed by the 1800R, 1800T, and the 1800N. All of these cruisers are awesome bikes, and it may take a test drive on each of them to determine which is the best for me.
